Description
There are still many gaps in the scientific data on cancer prevention through a healthy diet. Nevertheless, over the last 30 years, numerous authors have been able to show that certain dietary recommendations can reduce the risk of cancer by a high percentage. The reduction in this risk is between 20 and over 60 %, depending on the tumor disease.
This section examines the importance of nutrition in the development of cancer. What is the relationship between energy intake, the intake of macronutrients, certain food groups, vitamins, phytochemicals, minerals and trace elements and the risk of cancer? Answers to these questions with a presentation of the current data situation can be found here.
