Description

Bronchial asthma is one of the most common chronic lung diseases, affecting around 10 % of children and 5 % of adults in Germany. In childhood, it is even the most common chronic disease of all. Genetic predisposition as well as a variety of external factors lead to the development of this disease.

Knowledge about asthma and therapy, the use of inhalation aids and behavior in emergency situations makes you fit for advising asthmatics in the pharmacy. Asthmatics not only learn how to self-manage their illness, but also build up a trusting relationship with the pharmacy. The patient will benefit from your competent advice!
